    I’m pretty …
I’m pretty impressed with the way the H&K interacts with all your gain pedals. I think it sounds better than the Z Vex, Fulltone, and the Ibanez. It may have a lot to do with that sweet little Tiny Terror. A good boost gets to the amp’s distortion character. Ever try a Jacques Fuseblower? It has a lot of dirty tones, it could get that prog rock lead tone.
Love your board, nice playin’, and good gear makes good tone. Keep rocking!!!

    Finally, a …
Finally, a pedalboard without tone-sucking pedals (well, I don’t know if the TS is true-bypass). Great choice of pedals! The TC Vintage Delay is the same as Replica, but there is a slight difference (that’s why I got the Replica, the TC just didn’t have that extra smoothnes somehow), though from the inside, they look almost identical!!! 5 stars and kudos on the tone!

    Where do you guys …
Where do you guys place your OCD on the board? It screwed up the sound of my MXR 90 when I placed it on my board. I run Boos tuner - Fulltone Fat Boost 2 - OCD - Xotic BB Preamp - MXR EVH Flanger - MXR Phase 90 - MXR Carbon Copy - BBE Maximizer (Stomp) - amp.
With the OCD also, the Fat Boost is very noisy. I took the OCD out of the board and darn thing sounds awesome now. Any suggestions?

Its a pedalboard deno, adn the Tiny Terror takes pedals much better than the Rockerverb.

  • dabom34 says:

i dont get why he …
i dont get why he would put a tiny terror on top of a rockverb 50. the tiny terror has fewer ways to have fun, and its only like 15 watts or something. but other then that, its good playing.

  • akrem3 says:

    Why would you tune …
Why would you tune with your delay ON? why not just turn it off?

I always use tuner last. If you’re using a pedal with a poor quality buffer like the TU2 then it’s an even better idea to use it last so it doesn’t screw with everything after it.

I’d keep your pedals in that order - play with the order of your drives and see which you like better. Also, do you want your chorused signal to be delayed, or the delayed signal to be chorused? This will influence the placement of these pedals.

  • pencil08 says:

    tuner first, as …
    tuner first, as said already.
And i think it’s best to just mess around with them, re-order them yourself (the worst that can happen is that it’ll sound wank, you won’t break anything). When you find what you like best, stick with it, i’ve re-ordered my pedal board countless times. But about boost pedals, you could just get a boost pedal and adjust the settings on the tube screamer from midnight to something toneful and then use that for mild drive, or something. Up to you they’re your pedals.

use the tuner first. its hard to tune with delay on.

    i just bought a ts …
    i just bought a ts 808 reissue.
i was wondering how to use it as a booster for solo parts etc.
    my settings are 6 6 6.
and i use a ProCo Rat II distortion. placing the pedals in this order: GUITAR –> ts 808 –> RAT II –> Super Chorus –> DD-3 –> TU-2 –> AMP
do you have any suggestions for the order of stompboxes and how to boost the distortion for solo parts?
    thanks.
