thanks, but if I’m not mistaken, the double bass at the end are 32 notes, and I’m playing right along to the actual recording on my ipod. I’m pretty close to positive that I’m playing the correct speed, but the electronic effects on the bass drum, in addition to the terrible sound of the bass head I’m using, is making it sound slower.

At the time of the making of this video, I was using a replacement head because my evans eq3 had just cracked. the replacement head is a single ply generic CB head so you can imagine the pain I went through trying to make it sound deep. believe it or not, the head wasn’t tight at all, it was just poppy. I’ve since replaced it
